1. Click the

"Work
out what you need" and enter in the dimensions of your proposed deck. If your deck is not a
simple rectangle, dont worry we cater for that as well. We call each part of your deck, a Dekshape.
2. Once you have entered your
dimensions, we will send you a list of all of the SMARTDEK components
that you need to buy right down to the last screw, as well as a
full set of customised plans! No
guessing or special knowledge is required by you, we have done all the hard work and calculations, so you
dont have to.
3. When you are ready to build your
deck, all you need to do is open the full set of Installation Instructions and customised plans we have
sent you. The plans will walk you through every step of the job, so if you have any DIY
experience at all, this will be a breeze!
The patented SMARTDEK system has been designed and constructed
to ensure you can build a deck of any size - from a minimum of 1220mm x 1220mm, up to any size you can
imagine! The pieces of the light gauge steel SMARTDEK modules
connect together in such a way that allows just a few components to interact together to achieve a result
that goes together like clockwork! Almost every connection point is pre punched, and where
necessary, recessed. The material is lighter than timber, straighter, more durable (galvanised for a
50 year life), doesnt need cutting, and has zero waste, making it the perfect material to build your next
deck with. The module sizes can be anywhere from 1220mm x 1220mm to 2440mm x 2440mm (or anywhere in
between), and then multiple modules get joined together to create your
SMARTDEK. Our clever software works out the perfect sized modules to build your required SMARTDEK size, so as long as you want a deck that is larger than 1220mm x 1220mm - we can do it!
All you need is a small drill or impact driver to screw in the Dekscrews, and a P2 Phillips driver
(screw driver bit for the drill). Add to that your trusty tape measure - always measure twice - and
you are ready to go!!
